ABC News Radio taps TargetSpot for digital advertising

ABC News RadioABC News Radio has partnered with TargetSpot to deliver online advertising on ABC News audio content. TargetSpot will deliver in-stream audio, video and display ads within ABC News Radio's web content.

"This new relationship gives advertisers the opportunity to sponsor audio versions of Good Morning America, Nightline, World News with Diane Sawyer along with our comprehensive coverage of news and entertainment," said ABC News Radio GM and VP Steve Jones (who recently spoke at RAIN Summit West 2012).

ABC News Radio also has digital partnerships with Slacker and AOL Radio (RAIN coverage here).

Steve JonesToday RAIN announces the addition of two more industry executives to the agenda of RAIN Summit West 2012: ABC News Radio VP and General Manager Steve Jones and Jeff Price, Founder/CEO of TuneCore.

The conference takes place Sunday, April 15 in Las Vegas (more info below).

Steve Jones (pictured right) oversees content, business development and technology for ABC Radio’s news, entertainment and sports programming. In addition, Jones leads ABC Radio Digital, which licenses audio content to services like Slacker, AOL Radio, mSpot and Microsoft.

Jeff Price (pictured below left) founded TuneCore, the largest distributor of music, artists and labels in the world, in January 2006. He contributed to the founding charter and organization of The American Association of Independent Music (AAIM) and has served with spinART and eMusic.

Jeff PriceOther speakers set to appear at RAIN Summit West 2012 include Pandora SVP of Advertising Sales Steven Kritzman, Managing Partner of TAG Strategic Ted Cohen, TargetSpot CEO Eyal Goldwerger and others.

ESPN SVP, Production/Business Divisions Traug Keller will keynote the conference. RAIN will announce more speakers and panel topics in the coming weeks.

RAIN Summit West will take place on April 15 at the former Las Vegas Hilton, now called the LVH -- Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. It will conclude with the always-anticipated tradition of the poolside RAIN Reader Cocktail Party.

The Summit is an official “Co-Located Education Program” of the NAB Show. Registration includes access to the NAB Show Exhibit Hall and a catered box lunch. RAIN registrants can save $100 on NAB registration.
